Ballot Boxes from Kathmandu‑1 Taken to Counting Centre (Photos)

Kathmandu — Ballot boxes from Kathmandu Constituency 1 have been collected and transported to the vote counting center.

Security personnel gathered and moved ballot boxes from various polling stations to the counting location, which is being held at the Cooperative Building in New Baneshwor. The process of sealing and collecting the boxes is underway as officials prepare to begin counting.

As the boxes were taken toward the counting center, local residents applauded, saying the successful completion of the election reflected a peaceful and participatory process.

In Kathmandu‑1, candidates include Rabindra  Mishra ( RPP) Prabal Thapa Chhetri (Nepali Congress), Mohanraj Regmi (UML), Ranju Nyaupane (RSP), among others.
