Biraj Bhakta Shrestha Elected from Kathmandu-8

Kathmandu – Biraj Bhakta Shrestha of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has been elected from Kathmandu Constituency No. 8.

He was elected as a member of the House of Representatives with 24,592 votes.

His closest rival, Suman Sayami of the Nepal Communist Party (NCP), received 3,217 votes.

Similarly, Sapana Rajbhandari of the Nepali Congress received 2,835 votes, Rajesh Shakya of the CPN (UML) received 1,909 votes, and Nabin Shahi of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) also received 1,909 votes.
