Supporters Celebrate After Ranju Darshana’s Victory (Photos)

Kathmandu — After Rastriya Swatantra Party candidate Ranju Darshana was elected as the Member of Parliament from Kathmandu Constituency 1, her supporters celebrated.
The celebrations took place outside the vote‑counting centre near the Cooperative Department in New Baneshwor, where supporters expressed their joy after Darshana secured 15,455 votes to win the seat.

However, Darshana herself was not present at the counting centre, as she was attending her child’s nwaran (naming ceremony) and has said she will come to the counting centre after the ceremony.
