Ward Chairperson Ravindra Shah Assaulted in Kailali

Dhangadhi — Ward Chairperson Ravindra Shah (Guddu) of Ward No. 10, Godavari Municipality, Kailali was assaulted on his way to the polling station at Shankar Primary School.

Shah sustained a head injury in the attack, his party, the Nepali Congress, said. Shah was elected as ward chairperson on the Congress ticket.

He is currently receiving treatment at Patan Hospital in Attariya.
