Voting Proceeds Peacefully in Kathmandu

Kathmandu — Voting is underway peacefully and enthusiastically across all 10 constituencies in Kathmandu.

According to Kathmandu Chief District Officer Ishwar Raj Paudel, voting is continuing with enthusiasm at all 817 polling centers set up for the election of members of the House of Representatives.

He said voters are participating actively in the voting process as authorities have ensured a high level of security for the election.

A team led by Chief District Officer Paudel is currently visiting and monitoring various polling stations across Kathmandu.
