Kathmandu — The Kathmandu District Court has granted permission to keep Durga Prasai, coordinator of the “Save the Nation, Nationality, Religion, Culture, and Citizens” mega‑campaign, in custody for four more days.

Prasai, who was arrested from Bhaktapur on Monday night, was brought before the Kathmandu District Court on Tuesday.

The court allowed the extended detention for further investigation on charges of crimes against public peace.

Prasai had announced a protest movement starting from the 7th of Mangsir.
