On the Tibetan slope of Mount Everest, a fierce snowstorm has trapped hundreds of trekkers.

According to Chinese state media, about 350 people have already been rescued and brought to the small town of Qudang, while 200+ trekkers remain stranded at high camps above 4,900 meters.

Many have described extremely harsh conditions: tents collapsing, deep snow, and risk of hypothermia.

Rescue teams, including locals and official squads, are working to clear paths and gradually bring the stranded trekkers to safety.
