Shishir Khanal of RSP Wins Kathmandu-6

Kathmandu — Shishir Khanal, the candidate of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), has been elected from Kathmandu Constituency No. 6 in the House of Representatives election.

According to the final results announced on Friday, 43,863 votes were counted, of which Khanal secured 27,719 votes.

His closest rival, Sabuj Baniya of the Nepali Congress, received 6,647 votes, while Aman Maskey of CPN-UML obtained 4,373 votes.
