The Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) has finalized its list of four proportional representation (PR) lawmakers and formally submitted their names to the Election Commission.

Following a meeting of the party’s Central Executive Committee, the RPP recommended Bharat Giri (Mahottari) for the Khas-Arya male category, Tahir Ali (Rupandehi) for the Muslim male category, Khushbu Oli (Jhapa) for the Khas-Arya female category, and Saraswati Lama (Dhading) for the Janajati female category.

Having secured a total of five seats in the House of Representatives—four through the PR system and one via direct election—the party also moved to fill a vacancy in the Madhesh Provincial Assembly.

During the meeting, Chairman Rajendra Lingden noted that the names were kept internal until the official filing, while the party also extended congratulations to Gyan Bahadur Shahi for his direct electoral victory and thanked their supporters for their votes.
