Kathmandu — The Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) is organizing a protest program in Kathmandu today under the pretext of “pressuring for a new understanding.” The party plans to hold a public demonstration and a large gathering with the aim of creating popular pressure to restore the monarchy and declare Nepal a Hindu state.

The program will begin at 11:00 a.m. at Ratnapark’s Shantibazaar Park. RPP’s primary objective is to pressurize political parties and the new-generation leadership to forge a new kind of consensus between them.
