Proportional MPs at Election Commission to Receive Certificates (Photos)

Kathmandu: The Election Commission has begun distributing certificates to 110 lawmakers elected under the proportional representation system in the House of Representatives elections held on 21 Falgun.

According to the published list, 57 lawmakers have been elected from the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), 20 from the Nepali Congress, 16 from the CPN-UML, and 9 from the CPN. Similarly, 4 lawmakers each have been elected from the Shram Sanskriti Party and the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP).

The Commission is also preparing to submit the overall election report to President Ramchandra Paudel later today. Following this, the process of forming a new government will proceed in accordance with the Constitution.
