Prime Minister Dahal returns home after attending Modi’s swearing-in ceremony (photos)
Kathmandu – Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has returned home after completing his visit to India.
Prime Minister Dahal, who went to India on Sunday evening, returned to Nepal on Monday evening. He had traveled to India to attend the swearing-in ceremony of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Modi took the oath of office for his third term as Prime Minister of India on Sunday evening. After the swearing-in, Prime Minister Dahal and his Indian counterpart Modi had a meeting.
Additionally, on Monday afternoon, Prime Minister Dahal also met with Indian industrialists and businesspersons.
Upon his return from India, Prime Minister Dahal was welcomed at the airport by Speaker Devraj Ghimire, Chairman of the National Assembly Narayan Dahal, Deputy Prime Ministers Raghubir Mahaseth, Narayan Kaji Shrestha, Rabi Lamichhane, Minister of Tourism Hit Bahadur Tamang, and others.
