Newly appointed Foreign Minister Sharma takes oath

Kathmandu — Newly appointed Foreign Minister Balanand Sharma has taken the oath of office and secrecy. President Ramchandra Paudel administered the oath to Minister Sharma at a ceremony held at the President’s residence, Sheetal Niwas.

Sharma is a former senior officer of the Nepalese Army.

The oath-taking ceremony was attended by Vice President Ramsahay Prasad Yadav, Prime Minister Sushila Karki, Chief Justice Prakashman Singh Raut, Speaker Devraj Ghimire and others.
