Nepal Oil Corporation cuts aviation fuel price, airlines reduce fares

Kathmandu – Nepal Oil Corporation has reduced the price of domestic aviation fuel by Rs 40 per liter, leading airlines to lower their fares.

The Oil Corporation implemented the price reduction starting Wednesday. Consequently, airlines have also reduced their fares effective from the same day.

The fare for the farthest destination from Kathmandu, Dhangadhi, has decreased by Rs 1765, while the fare for the nearest destination, Simara, has been reduced by Rs 360.

Airlines have lowered the fuel surcharge included in the airfare.

The fuel surcharge has been reduced for both accessible and remote areas as per the rates approved by the authority.
