Nepal Announces Squad for Upcoming T20 World Cup

Kathmandu – The Nepali national team has been announced for the T20 World Cup, scheduled to take place this coming February in India and Sri Lanka.

Sher Malla and Basir Ahmad, who performed exceptionally well in the Nepal Premier League (NPL), have earned their spots in the squad. Meanwhile, Kushal Malla and Adil Alam have been excluded from the team.

Rohit Paudel will lead the side as captain, with Dipendra Singh Airee serving as the vice-captain. Other members of the squad include:

In the T20 World Cup, Nepal is set to compete against Bangladesh, England, the West Indies, and Italy. According to the published match schedule, Nepal will play all of its group-stage matches at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.
