Meet the Ministers in Balen Shah’s New Cabinet

Kathmandu — A new Council of Ministers has been formed under Prime Minister Balendra Shah.

In the Balen-led government, Sudhan Gurung has been appointed Home Minister, while Swarnim Wagle will lead the Finance Ministry. Shishir Khanal has been assigned the Foreign Affairs portfolio, and Sobita Gautam will head the Law Ministry.

Similarly, Biraj Bhakta Shrestha has been given the Energy Ministry, and Ganesh Poudel will oversee Tourism. Pratibha Rawal has been appointed Minister for General Administration, while Gita Chaudhary will lead Agriculture.

Bikram Timilsina will handle the Communication Ministry, and Sunil Lamsal has been assigned Physical Infrastructure and Transport. In the social sectors, Sasmita Pokharel (Education), Sita Badi (Women, Children and Senior Citizens), Nisha Mehta (Health and Population), and Dipak Shah (Labour, Employment and Social Security) have been appointed.

Prime Minister Balendra Shah has retained key portfolios, including Defense and Industry, under his direct leadership.
