Lawmakers Begin Arriving at Singha Durbar for Oath Ceremony

KATHMANDU – Members of the House of Representatives elected through the elections held on March 4 are taking their oath of office and secrecy today.

Members of Parliament (MPs) have started arriving at Singha Durbar to participate in the swearing-in ceremony scheduled for 2:00 PM this afternoon.

According to the program, the senior-most member of the House of Representatives, Arjun Narasingha KC, will administer the oath of office and secrecy to them. President Ram Chandra Paudel had administered the oath to him on Wednesday.

The Federal Parliament Secretariat has stated that all preparations for the swearing-in ceremony have been completed.
