House Speaker Election to be Held on April 4

Kathmandu – The election for the Speaker of the House of Representatives is scheduled for April 4.

During an all-party meeting held at Singha Durbar on Tuesday, the proposal to conduct the election on the 22nd was introduced, according to Prakash Chandra Pariyar, a Member of Parliament from the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP).

The meeting, chaired by the senior-most member of the House, Arjun Narsingh KC, also proposed setting time limits for party leaders to address the first parliamentary session, which is scheduled to convene tomorrow.
