Gold price marks the record high

The hallmark gold being traded at Rs 106 thousand 300 per tola (11.66 grams) hit a new high in the domestic market Tuesday. The price today is increased by Rs 1,000 per tola as compared to the preceding day.

Similarly, the price of worked gold has been set at Rs 105 thousand and 800 per tola.

Earlier on March 9, 2022, the price of gold had recorded all time high and traded at Rs 105 thousand and five per tola.

But, the price of silver decreased by Rs 15 per tola as compared to yesterday and is being traded at Rs 1,365.

According to Manik Ratna Shakya, President of Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers Association, the price of gold has increased due to the war between Russia and Ukraine and as central banks of different countries started increasing gold stock.
