Little Angels’ College of Management (LACM) accomplished the On-Campus final of the Hult Prize for the year 2025/26 at its premises on 10th February, 2026, under the theme set for the year “Unlimited: No boundaries. Just potential.”

The Hult Prize, with a $1 million prize, is an annual, year-long competition that crowdsources ideas from university-level students – a global startup prize that “challenges young people around the world to solve the planet’s most pressing issues through social entrepreneurship.”

The journey of this year’s Hult Prize began way back in September of 2025, gathering the committee, forming bonds, and setting up the future for the students of now to be the leaders of tomorrow.

Yesterday, on February 10, 2026, the Hult Prize On-Campus of Lacm took place, spreading the message of sustainability, action, and community building. Through an idea to create a better future for others with a purpose, innovation, and change. The Hult Prize organizing committee at LACM has been hosting workshops and activities with industry experts to support competing teams in their preparation. These sessions covered business model canvas development, sharing insights on sustainable business ideas, brainstorming, and much more.

Letting young minds pave a path for themselves to create a better future for themselves with the help of a little guidance. This pitching session was not just about presenting ideas, but about showcasing vision, impact, and the potential to create meaningful change. Each team represented months of thought, collaboration, and commitment to solving real-world challenges.

6 teams competed with passion, serving a purpose this year. The teams—Team Karma, Team Lumine, Team EarthNest, Team Sustania, Team Kristal Crochet, and Team MeroBato. All brought together diverse and inspiring ideas to the table, driven by the desire to create a better future, fueled by innovation, and a commitment to positive change.

Among them, Team MeroBato emerged as this year’s champions, the creators of a mobile app designed to simplify public transportation for everyone. Their app provides real-time navigation, accessible route information, and safety tracking features, with a special focus on empowering visually impaired and vulnerable travelers. By combining technology with inclusivity, Team MeroBato aims to make commuting safer, easier, and more accessible for all.

“Team MeroBato stood out for their inclusive and tech-driven solution. By simplifying public transportation and prioritizing accessibility and safety, they showed how innovation can truly serve everyone — especially those who need it the most.”
All the teams truly showed us that a heart that wants to do something better with a little dedication and encouragement can truly step up and make a change happen. This experience was a powerful reminder of our capacity to improve the lives of others while growing through the journey ourselves. Here’s to the bold ideas and bright futures sparked by this year’s participants!
