Four Ministers to Be Added to Prime Minister Karki’s Government, Oath Taking Prepared for Today

Kathmandu — The government led by Prime Minister Sushila Karki is preparing to expand the cabinet by appointing four new ministers, and they are set to take their oaths today.

According to sources, Shri­dha Shrestha is likely to be appointed as the Minister for Women, Children and Senior Citizens, Madhav Chaulagain as Minister of Forests and Environment, Rajendra Singh Bhandari as Minister of Labour, Employment and Social Security, and Kumar Ing­nam as Minister for Land Management, Cooperatives and Poverty Alleviation.

Their names have been recommended to the President’s Office, and preparations are underway for the oath-taking ceremony later today.

With these additions, Prime Minister Karki’s interim cabinet will expand as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen the government ahead of future challenges.
