Former Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak Arrested

Kathmandu — Police have arrested Nepali Congress leader and former Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak.

He was taken into custody from his residence in Katunje, Bhaktapur, where he was sleeping, and escorted away by police.

A team from Nepal Police, with support from the Armed Police Force, arrested Lekhak from Katunje in Bhaktapur.

A senior police official said he was arrested after being issued an urgent arrest warrant.
