Fire Erupts at a Club and Hotel in Durbar Marg

Kathmandu — A fire erupted on Thursday morning at a club and a hotel on Durbar Marg in Kathmandu. Around 9 a.m., flames were first reported at the Black House Dance Club on Durbar Marg, prompting an emergency response from firefighters.

Four fire engines deployed by Kathmandu Metropolitan City were dispatched to the scene as crews worked to control the blaze. According to Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Pawan Bhattarai, efforts to extinguish the fire were underway.

Police also reported a separate fire at the Woodland Hotel, also located on Durbar Marg, with firefighting operations in progress.

So far, authorities say no human casualties have been reported, and fire crews continue their efforts to bring the situation fully under control. The cause of the fire remains unknown at this time.
