Congress Will Not Waste the Next Five Years, Says President Thapa

Janakpurdham-  Nepali Congress President Gagan Kumar Thapa has vowed that his party will no longer waste time or opportunities in the coming five years. Speaking at a programme in Janakpurdham where the Congress unveiled its election pledge paper, Thapa said the “transformed” party will work diligently and efficiently to address the country’s problems.

Thapa told supporters that “Congress will not let the next five years be wasted,” stressing that the party draws strength not from anger but from love and inclusion. He said the Congress honours its past achievements but will not remain stuck in history — rather, it will focus on solving current problems and leading Nepal toward a brighter future.

He also emphasized the party’s commitment to building the nation in an inclusive way, involving all communities and ensuring that there is no return to violence or unrest. Thapa urged party workers to go grassroots, encouraging voters to support Congress candidates and affirm the party’s vision.

Thapa said the Congress aims to foster stability and prosperity, and he called on supporters to campaign for the party’s two election symbols, representing unity and progress.
