Baburam, Janardan and Pariyar to Unite Today

Kathmandu – The Nepal Socialist Party (Naya Shakti), led by Baburam Bhattarai, the Progressive National Campaign, led by Janardan Sharma, and the group led by Santosh Pariyar are set to unite.

According to Rekhi Gurung, head of the publicity department of Naya Shakti, all preparations for a grand unity announcement have been completed.

The event will take place at the National Assembly Hall in Kathmandu, where the three main components—and other groups—will be included in the unity.

Previously, on Kartik 28, Naya Shakti, the Progressive National Campaign, and Pariyar’s group signed a unity agreement. Only new and alternative political parties have been invited to the declaration meeting.

Naya Shakti has said it is also holding talks with several other groups for unity, including Bibeksheel Sajha, the Nagarik Unmukti Party Nepal, and various Gen Z groups.
