Dr. Devendra Khatri appointed vice-chairman of Medical Education Commission

Kathmandu – Dr. Devendra Khatri has been appointed as the Vice-Chairman of the Medical Education Commission. Prime Minister and Commission Chairman Balen Shah appointed Dr. Khatri to the position.

The newly appointed Vice-Chairman, Dr. Khatri, received his appointment letter today from Education and Sports Minister and Commission Co-Chairman Sasmita Pokharel at the Ministry of Education and Sports.

Previously, the Vice-Chairman position at the commission was vacant, and until further arrangements were made, former Vice-Chairman Shrikrishna Giri had been given the responsibility as acting Vice-Chairman.

Following the issuance of an ordinance by the government to make special provisions for the dismissal of public officials, Vice-Chairman Dr. Anjanikumar Jha and other officials were relieved from their positions, leaving the Vice-Chairman post vacant.
