288 people benefited from the free health camp

Humla-  Senior citizens and persons with disabilities benefited from a free integrated health camp conducted in Yangchu, the center of Kharpunath Rural Municipality. The camp was operated under the leadership of Chief Specialist Physician Umakant Tiwari from the Health Services Office.

The Health As Medical Center, established in the headquarters Simkot, ran the camp for two days. According to the center’s chief, Narayan Fadera, 125 people were treated on the first day and 155 on the second, making a total of 288 patients treated.

At the camp, 57 patients over the age of 60 received treatment. Among them was 90‑year‑old RiuLi Rawal from Kharpunath Rural Municipality‑4, and 2‑year‑old child Resika Bhattaarai from Ward No. 1 also received treatment.

The camp provided services including gynecology, pediatrics, video X‑ray, and other treatments. Physician Tiwari reported that most of the treated patients had blood pressure‑related issues. All treated patients were given free medicines.
