Kathmandu — U.S. President Donald Trump has issued a stern warning that he will respond forcefully if Iran attacks.

After U.S. and Israeli strikes reportedly killed Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, Iran’s parliament speaker, Mohammad Bagher Qalibaf, said Tehran must make its attackers pay a steep price and suggested Iran would not remain silent. In response, President Trump posted a threatening message on the social media platform Truth Social.

He said, “Iran has just said that they are going to strike very hard today, harder than ever before. It would be better if they did not do that, because if they do, we will strike them with a force that has never been seen before.”

International media have reported that Iran may strike against the United States.

The U.S. and Israel have carried out airstrikes on key Iranian sites.
