Meteorologists’ forecast: Heavy rain from Tuesday through Thursday

Meteorologists have forecast heavy rainfall in various parts of Nepal starting Tuesday, Sawan 27.

According to a video shared by meteorologist Binod Pokhrel on social media, there is a possibility of heavy rain across Nepal—from the east to the west— from Tuesday (Sawan 27) through Thursday (Sawan 29).

In the video, meteorologist Pokhrel notes:

“According to the weather forecast, from the coming Tuesday through Thursday, there is a possibility of heavy to very heavy rainfall across different parts of the country.”

He also mentions in the video:

“Based on the hourly forecast maps, areas shaded in red are at risk of extremely high rainfall. During this period, there is a potential threat of flooding, landslides, and inundation, so the general public is urged to remain vigilant.”
