Identity of Nepali Killed in UAE due to Iranian Attack Is Revealed

A Nepali man from Bhimsen Thapa Rural Municipality-7 in Gorkha has died in the United Arab Emirates after being caught in Iran’s attack, authorities said.

According to the Nepali Embassy in Abu Dhabi, 29-year-old Dibas Shrestha passed away on Sunday. He was working as a security guard for a company in the Middle East and reportedly lost his life while trying to neutralize a drone at Abu Dhabi’s Zayed International Airport.

The embassy said it will facilitate the repatriation of Shrestha’s body to Nepal.
