Student Dies After Falling from DAV College Rooftop; Police Launch Investigation into Suspicious Incident

A student has died after falling from the fourth floor of DAV School in Dhobighat, Lalitpur. The deceased has been identified as Aryan Singh, an 18-year-old studying in Class 12, according to Lalitpur police. He fell from the fourth floor at around 12:30 PM on Monday.

He was taken to Sumeru City Hospital for treatment, where doctors declared him dead at around 6 PM. Lalitpur police spokesperson Gautam Mishra stated that the student jumped from the fourth floor of the school. An investigation into the incident is ongoing, he added.

Mishra informed that the body has been handed over to the family after a post-mortem. “We are investigating the reality of the situation and conducting further inquiries,” Mishra said.
