Students Seek ‘Alms Donations’ for Government Campus Infrastructure Development ( Photo Feature )

Kathmandu — Students have resorted to ‘alms collection’ around the Trichandra area to demand infrastructure development in government campuses.

In a symbolic and satirical protest, student groups collected donations in the vicinity of Trichandra Campus, stating: “The government has ignored the repair and improvement of our campus’s dilapidated buildings, classrooms, and laboratories—now we will build it through our own alms.”

They staged the demonstration to highlight the poor condition of public campus infrastructure and to criticize government inaction.
