D.P. Aryal Elected Speaker of the HOR

Kathmandu — D.P. Aryal of the Rastriya Swatantra Party has been elected unopposed as Speaker of the House of Representatives.

At a meeting of Parliament held today, senior-most member Arjun Narsingh KC announced Aryal’s unopposed election to the post.

Following his election, Aryal shared his happiness with fellow lawmakers from his party.

He celebrated with Rastriya Swatantra Party Chair Rabi Lamichhane, Prime Minister Balen Shah, Home Minister Swarnim Wagle, Law Minister Sobita Gautam, and other party members.
