RSP’s Rajiv Khatri Wins Bhaktapur-2

Kathmandu — Rajiv Khatri, a candidate of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), has won the election from Bhaktapur Constituency No. 2.

Khatri was elected as a member of the House of Representatives after defeating CPN-UML candidate Mahesh Basnet.

Khatri secured 42,334 votes, while Basnet received 10,966 votes.

Similarly, Kabir Rana of the Nepali Congress obtained 8,401 votes, while Ramesh Baidya of the Nepal Workers and Peasants Party received 3,753 votes. Ram Prasad Sapkota of the Nepal Communist Party garnered 1,323 votes.
