Election Police Protest in Rukum East

Kathmandu — Election police personnel have protested in Rukum East.

The election police are demonstrating in front of the District Police Office in Rukum East, claiming that not all election police are being treated equally.

Their protest was triggered after three election police officers received pay without performing duty, leading other election police personnel to begin protesting.

Police officials are trying to calm and persuade the protesting election police.
