Photo Exhibition Commemorates Army Day

Kathmandu — On the occasion of Army Day, the Nepali Army has begun a Photo and Grand Exhibition–2082 at Jangi Adda. The exhibition, which opened today, will run until Magh 7.

The exhibition features photographs depicting the Nepali Army’s activities from the past to the present, along with displays of historical weapons, equipment, and exhibits highlighting the various roles the Army has played over time.

In addition, the exhibition showcases a wide range of activities, including military uniforms, the army band, military aviation services, cavalry, national parks and wildlife reserves, peacekeeping missions, development and construction work, disaster management, sports, the National Service Corps, and military schools.

Organized with the aim of providing the general public an opportunity to closely observe the diverse activities of the Nepali Army, the exhibition offers free entry through the western gate of Jangi Adda — on Magh 4 from 11:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and from Magh 5 to 7 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

The Nepali Army has expressed confidence that the exhibition will help members of the public, as well as students at various levels of study, gain insight into the Army’s wide-ranging activities.
