General Election Is Congress’s Top Priority: President Deuba

Kathmandu – Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba has said that his party is already preparing to participate in the upcoming House of Representatives election scheduled for Falgun 21.

In a meeting today at his residence with Minister for Communication and Information Technology Jagdish Kharel, Deuba stated that his party has taken a decision to contest the election and that the election itself is Congress’s top priority.

According to Minister Kharel, who is also a member of the Political Dialogue Committee, Deuba emphasized that the government must create a proper environment to ensure the election is conducted freely and fairly.
