Meeting Between Balen and Kulman, Decisive Talks to Be Held With Ravi

Kathmandu — Kathmandu Metropolitan City Mayor Balen Shah, who is in the race for “alternative power,” met with Energy Minister Kulman Ghising on Thursday for discussions.

According to sources, the meeting included talks on possible cooperation and participation in the upcoming election. However, no concrete conclusion from the discussion has been made public.

Earlier, Balen had also held meetings and discussions last night with Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) Chairperson Lamichhane, Congress leader Dr. Sunil Sharma, Sudan Gurung, Rastriya Prajatantra Party leader Gyanendra Shahi, Resham Chaudhary, and others. But no definitive outcome emerged from those discussions either.

Following that, Balen is now preparing to meet with Ravi Lamichhane again today. Today’s meeting is said to be focused on efforts to finalize cooperation between Balen and Ravi.
