NPL: Lumbini and Biratnagar face off today

Kathmandu — Under the ongoing Nepal Premier League (NPL) at the Tribhuvan International Cricket Stadium, Kathmandu, the second qualifier takes place today at 4:00 PM when Lumbini Lions will face Biratnagar Kings.

Biratnagar earned this second-chance after losing to Sudurpaschim Royals by 77 runs in the first qualifier. Meanwhile, Lumbini reached this qualifier by defeating Kathmandu Gorkhas by 4 wickets in the Eliminator.

In the league phase, Lumbini had already beaten Biratnagar by 5 wickets.

Today’s match is crucial, because the winner will advance to the final. The victorious team will meet Sudurpaschim Royals for the championship. The final is scheduled for Mangsir 27.
