Pokhrel to submit counter-proposal at UML general convention

Kathmandu — In the 11th general convention of UML, the group outside the establishment will submit a counter-proposal to the political document proposed by Chairman KP Sharma Oli.

The 11th general convention, scheduled for Mangsir 27–29 (December 13–15), will be held in Kathmandu.

Ishwar Pokhrel is preparing to present a different political proposal at the convention.

After the opening ceremony at Sallaghari, Bhaktapur on the 27th, his group plans to formally submit the separate political proposal during the subsequent closed-session, alongside Oli’s proposal.

For that purpose, on Monday they intend to meet Oli to hand over their proposal. The handover is expected to take place at 3 PM at the party office in Chyasal.
