The Deuba couple, who were in Singapore, are returning today to homeland

Kathmandu — Today (Friday) the couple of the Sher Bahadur Deuba, President of the Nepali Congress, are returning home from Singapore.

According to a leader close to Deuba, Deuba and his wife Arzu Rana Deuba are set to return today, though the exact time of arrival has not been disclosed.

They left for Singapore on Kartik 10 for treatment after being injured during the Gen Z movement. They had been attacked on 24 Bhadra and their injuries were made public at the NC Central Working Committee meeting on the 28 Asoj.

At the same meeting, President Deuba also entrusted the responsibility of acting president of the party to Vice-President Purna Bahadur Khadka.
