Janardan Sharma will hold a special press conference today

Kathmandu — CPN (Maoist Centre) Deputy General Secretary Janardan Sharma will hold a special press conference today. The event is scheduled to take place at Satkar Café, Bakhundol, Lalitpur, at 2:30 p.m.

The Maoist party is set to approve a unity agreement today with eight parties, including the CPN (Unified Socialist). Sharma has expressed dissatisfaction with this decision. He has said that party unification with the Unified Socialist is not acceptable to him.

Having also been absent from the Maoist meeting, Sharma is now preparing to hold a special press conference today. In the previous meeting, he had expressed his views and then left.

Meanwhile, Maoist Coordinator Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has accused Sharma of displaying anarchic behavior. Speaking to journalists after the party’s Secretariat meeting held on Saturday, he said that while the meeting was proceeding smoothly, Sharma, after expressing his views, left in an anarchic manner. Dahal commented that Sharma’s behavior was inappropriate.
