The government is preparing to freeze the passports of former Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli and other top leaders.

The government is preparing to seize the passports of those involved in suppressing the Gen-Z movement and those under investigation for money laundering.

The government is set to freeze the passports of Oli, Ramesh Lekhak, Energy Minister Deepak Khadka, and others.

A high-level government source confirmed to Desh Sanchar that the government is also discussing freezing the passports of Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba and Arzu Rana.

According to the source, the government has also held discussions with the Department of Immigration regarding the process of cancelling the passports.

The government has already formed an investigation commission led by Gauri Bahadur Karki to look into the repression and vandalism during the Gen-Z movement.
