Bidhya reaches Chyasal to hold talks with Oli (photos)

Kathmandu – Former President Bidhya Devi Bhandari has arrived at the CPN (UML) party office in Chyasal.

She went to Chyasal to hold a meeting with Prime Minister and UML Chairperson K.P. Sharma Oli. She has already announced her return to active politics within UML.

However, Chairperson Oli is reportedly trying to block her return to the party.

At a Politburo meeting held on Saturday, the UML decided to keep her party membership renewal “pending,” concluding that she cannot be immediately included in the party’s leadership.

Former President Bhandari had announced her intention to rejoin UML during the Madan Bhandari 74th birth anniversary event on 14 Asar, but Oli has not yet met her at Chyasal.
