Jhapa – The District Administration Office in Jhapa has expressed serious concern over materials posted by social media user Dipak Timilsina under the banner of the Independent Civil Society, Bhadrapur, on July 14 and 15, 2025.

In a press release issued today, the office clarified that the allegations made are baseless. According to the release, Dipak Timilsina used offensive and inappropriate language to make unfounded accusations. When summoned to Jhapa for clarification, Timilsina admitted that he had used improper language under the influence of others and in a state of agitation, subsequently apologizing for his behavior. He explained that he acted without understanding the full context, based on remarks made by others.

The District Administration Office stated its commitment to providing grievance-free and client-friendly services. Recent initiatives include gathering feedback through QR codes and implementing a citizen’s charter.

The office also noted that it has been taking actions against brokers under the direction of the Home Minister, including prosecuting several individuals apprehended from various offices. A strict warning has been issued against causing trouble to the public, making unnecessary allegations, coercion, overcharging for services, taking high postal stamp fees, not issuing receipts for transactions, causing delays, and falsely promising service facilitation. Immediate action will be taken against such practices.

The office urges all to report any such incidents through available channels and requests that complaints be made while maintaining public decorum and dignity.
