Minister Adhikari says about audio tape linked to Minister Gupta – I have not made a mistake

Kathmandu – The Minister of Land Management, Cooperatives, and Poverty Alleviation, Balram Adhikari, has stated that he has committed no wrongdoing.

While speaking with journalists at the Parliament premises, he emphasized that he is dedicated to serving the public and would not engage in any unethical activities.

Minister Adhikari also remarked that the media should aid in informing the public by providing factual and accurate information.

He mentioned that if errors are identified in the government’s policies, the government is willing to correct them and move forward.

He stated, “I won’t make mistakes; I am here to work for the people. I will fulfill my duties to the public, so rest assured. Let us first evaluate ourselves and only then question others.”

Previously, Minister Adhikari’s name had been linked to an audio tape concerning corruption involving Administrative Minister Rajkumar Gupta. In the tape, Minister Gupta was heard accepting a bribe offer of 7.8 million rupees related to a land registration deal, implicating Minister Adhikari as well.
