Kathmandu – Prime Minister and CPN‑UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli stated that those who wish for the UML without himself will not see that wish fulfilled.

Addressing a district-level UML rally in Jhapa on Sunday, he said that anyone who hopes for “a country without UML” or “a UML without KP Oli” will remain disappointed.

“Their wish for a country without UML, or a UML without KP Oli, will not be fulfilled. UML is not a party that carries petty interests. It carries on its shoulders the grand purpose of nation building,” he declared.

He also warned that those plotting against UML would not succeed:

“Those spinning webs against UML will not succeed. A buffalo never gets trapped in a spider’s web. We must not fall for misleading campaigns against us.”

Oli further recalled that despite some self-interested leaders—who had stayed in the party for a long time and benefited from various positions—carrying out conspiracies in the past to split or destroy UML, the party’s activists and the public rescued UML and restored it as a national force.
