PM Oli formed a 22-member cabinet
Kathmandu- Newly appointed Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has formed a 22-member cabinet while taking the oath.
Oli took the oath and formed a 22-member cabinet, with 10 ministers from the Congress, 8 from the CPN-UML, 2 from the Janata Samajwadi Party, and one from the Loktantrik Samajwadi Party.
Prakash Man Singh from Congress and Bishnu Prasad Paudel from CPN-UML have taken oath as Deputy Prime Ministers. Singh has been assigned to the Ministry of Urban Development and Paudel to the Ministry of Finance.
From CPN-UML, Prithvi Subba Gurung has been assigned the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, Balaram Adhikari the Ministry of Land Management, Damodar Bhandari the Ministry of Industry and Commerce.
Similarly, Devendra Dahal has received the responsibility of Ministry of Physical Infrastructure and Transport, Vidya Bhattarai the Ministry of Education and Science, Manbir Rai Defense, Rajkumar Gupta Federal Affairs and General Administration Ministry.
From Congress, Ramesh Lekhak has been appointed as Minister of Home Affairs, Arju Rana Deuba as Minister of Foreign Affairs, Tejulal Chaudhary as Minister of Youth and Sports, and Ajay Chaurasiya has been assigned as the Minister of Law, Justice, and Parliamentary Affairs.
Likewise, Deepak Khadka has received the Ministry of Energy, Ain Bahadur Shahi the Ministry of Forests and Environment, Pradeep Poudel the Ministry of Health and Population, Ram Nath Adhikari Agriculture and Cooperatives, and Badri Pandey Tourism and Civil Aviation Ministry.
Sharad Singh Bhandari of Loktantrik Samajwadi Party has been appointed Minister of Labor and Employment. From Janata Samajwadi Party, Pradeep Yadav has been assigned the Ministry of Drinking Water and Nawal Kishor Sah the Ministry of Women and Children.
