Body of deceased security personnel taken to teaching hospital

In Kathmandu, inside the Federal Parliament building in New Baneshwor, a young constable of the Nepal Police has tragically committed suicide by shooting himself. His body has been taken to Tribhuvan Teaching Hospital (TUTH) in Maharajgunj for post-mortem.

The deceased constable, Ajit Gole, approximately 23 years old, shot himself in the restroom near Gate No. 2 of the Parliament building. He was serving in the Special Task Force, deployed from the Nepal Police Headquarters, and had joined in 2078 BS. He was on duty in the morning when he entered the restroom and used his service pistol to take his own life.
