Youths should be united for nation building: Minister Limbu

Minister for Youth and Sports Dig Bahadur Limbu underscored unity and determination among youths for nation building.

At a programme organized by the National Youth Council on the occasion of 24th International Youth Day here today, Minister Limbu asserted, “It would not take much time to build the nation if all of us work in unison.”
He, however, viewed the youths are not satisfied with the way the leadership is moving forward. The youth are yet to get what they are seeking for. Towards this, the Minister pledged to provide opportunities to the youths by considering an amendment in the policy.
The government is observing this year as the ‘youth entrepreneurship year’ with an objective to promote entrepreneurship among the youths. He urged the youths to take a lead in political, socio-economic and cultural sectors.
Nepal Medical Education Commission’s Vice-Chairperson Dr Shrikrishna Giri argued that the youth force is necessary for development of the country and thus called for creating a favorable environment for them to work within the country.
Similarly, Secretary at the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Rabilal Pantha, viewed the country could not be developed until youths were made capable.
Council’s Executive Vice-Chairperson Surendra Basnet assured that the youths would be self-employed within the country in line with the vision of the Youth Entrepreneurship Year.
